Así como los pescadores utilizan anzuelos para atraer a los peces, en marketing utilizamos lead magnets para atraer a los prospectos y clientes potenciales.

Si todavía no te queda claro este concepto de los lead magnets, tranquilo que te explico mejor:

Los lead magnets pueden ser cualquier cosa que le aporte valor a un cliente potencial sobre los servicios o productos que ofreces. Por ejemplo:​

  • Una clase gratuita de inglés si enseñas clases de inglés
  • Un cupón de un 20% de descuento por una primera compra en una tienda de ropa
  • Una consulta gratuita sobre tecnología de la información para luego ofrecer tus servicios
  • En webinar en vivo para enseñar a los asistentes a organizar mejor su vida con un software que tú mismo vendes

Pueden haber tantos lead magnets como creatividad se tenga. Para cada tipo de negocio uno puede funcionar mejor que otro. Sin embargo, el objetivo siempre es el mismo: obtener los datos de contacto de clientes potenciales y ganarte su confianza.
